We’re women in our 20s & an age-appropriate place would be nice, but not necessary.

The only thing I found online was Alcoholic Neuropathy, which makes sense considering i have numbness in my feet and hands, BUT I’m only 28 and haven’t been an alcoholic all my life. Every new day is “to me” the worst day of my life, which means everyday I wake up is the worst day of my life.
Anytime something good happens in my life, something doubly as bad happens.
EXAMPLE: I recently obtained a new job for much more money than I’m making now, less than 1 minute after receiving that call my computer crashed and costed me $200 to fix, 10 minutes later I got a call from an attorney stating I was being sued for defaulting on a loan for over $12,000 for a home I never owned, and less than 3 hours later I got an eviction notice because I failed to pay a $1800 GAS BILL FOR ONE F$&%N MONTH. Then my 300zx TWIN TURBO I spent a total of over $50K for was stolen out of my driveway in the middle of DAY in a city with absolutely no crime, OVERLAND PARK KS, top 10 places to live 2006 (NO CRIME< BEST COST OF LIVING< ETC)
I have and would like to continue considering myself a calm, collect, intelligent, reasonable human being, but that might have to change. My parents think I'm absolutely nuts (My mom says I have more issues with utility companies, bills, and people than anyone she's ever met) I don't blame them for thinking so, but they haven't been present for these unbelievably fictatious sounding stories I give them.
NOTE: I've had hippies, etc... tell me since I was a kid that I have the most EVIL glowing AURA they have ever SEEN. I had no idea what that meant until I smoke Greenery for the first time.
If anyone responds to this PLEASE don't give me some response like, "You'r F'd up, or you're a loser, because I really will flip out, lol j/k"
For real though, serious responses only, I really am worried that I'm messed up in the head.

I am moving to Overland Park, KS in a few days and I have no idea what I am supposed to do about this car when I move.
Do I need to do something with this Iowa title? Does it need to turn into a Kansas one? What about registration and insurance. It appears that to get the title and registration you have to have it insured. But when I went to insure it the insurance wanted the registration? I don’t get that.
Also, I don;t have plates for it. Can I drive it without plates? Do I need to do this type of stuff before I move or after. And if the answer is after then do I need to file a title change in Iowa first? or can I just bring the signed title to the people in Kansas?
What do they mean by “inspection” that I seem to need before inspection in Kansas? I never have had to have my cars inspected for anything before.
WESSELS
The hospital is charging TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS PER DAY for my 4 day hospital stay. This doesn’t include the obgyn fees.
What kills me is that 2 years ago, we had a baby, and the hospital billed 1/3 that amount. The prices have gone up 300% in just 2 years? Can that be?
AFTER insurance, we are going to have to pay $1700 per day.
Our out of pocket maximum is $6000 per year, so at least that keeps the hospital from bankrupting us.
2 years ago, I spent 10 days in the hospital, and was very ill, and I had an MRI, among other things, and the hospital still billed about $40,000 for the whole thing.
I’m talking about Shawnee Mission Hospital in Overland Park, KS. They are a non-profit. Does this have anything to do with our charges?
minicupcake: If you don’t have insurance, you can go to a nonprofit hospital, and based on your income, they will charge you less.
Even though we have insurance, we will have to ask that the hospital we dealt with will write off some of that debt. (Don’t know if they will, though).
